The Mentone-Valley Head, Alabama area
lies just west of the Georgia-Alabama
border on AL-117.
I had left my in-laws house on the way
to Nashville and the weather was clear
and it was a beautiful autumn day so
naturally I stopped to snap a few
pictures along the way.
The photos were taken on November 5,
2005

looks like but I love the entrance.

mountain looking east back towards Mentone.

This barn, the best I remember, is on the
far western edge of Valley Head just before
I-59
